This is a first time visualization of an event that takes place in Gwen's future. I don't think I'm ever going to get around to writing it, but why not share it in the mean time? This should not be considered canon, as the circumstances and designs could change. With that said, here's the context: At the end of the Virtue series (about 2 or 3 issues after the current series), Gwen will be shot forward into the future (roughly 100 years). She arrives in an alien occupied Earth.

When she arrives, her True Armor is irreparably destroyed. For a long time, she spends the story setting without any super-powers. She networks with a new resistance that reveres her as some sort of god (Dark ages have a tendency to exaggerate certain events in the past). While she tries to downplay her deity-ship (and help fight the alien occupation), she falls in love with a man in the resistance. He shows her what remains of the society that was. One of those things is a lab that was run by Doctor Hayashi (her old mentor), and it's guarded by an aged Maria Montoya. Maria warns that the last project that Hayashi was working on was a means of combating the occupying alien forces (Called Pure Skin, it was a fusion of the True Armor and a Darkling). Unfortunately, the only suit they were ever able to make couldn't be field tested. Maria didn't trust that it wouldn't just subjugate whoever wore it, like her own Darkling almost did to her.

Later, Gwen's lover is captured by the aliens. Desperate, Gwen goes to retrieve the suit from Hayashi's lab...
