Description Well people i thought it would be about time to show you all how i do my stuff.

Firsty i just sketch out a rough pose like this one and put in a few minor details. Before you do that you might want to draw in a line that curves to show where the centre of the body will go (commonly refered to in the animation industry as the Line of Action). In this one she was originally throwing a spear on a different angle with her upper hand facing outwards. And then seeing as how i didnt like how it looked i slightly changed it around moving the upper hand up and the pole down like she is going to hit something rather than poke it.

The next step i added wings as i could either make her jumping through the air or flying... so the wings were added and that looked good for now. And then next to give it a more rounded look to the whole drawing i gave the pole some material to show movement and to also make everthing have a nice flow to it. Also do not rub out the lines they give the drawing a style of its own which is mine, so remember at the moment not to press real hard or you could be in a bit of trouble later on.

And that is the first steps in how i do my drawings, expect the next steps to be added shortly. By the way, this image may seem kind of finished already but its how i do things i can see it in my head before i even touch the paper.

nah i havent studied the human body in much detial at all, never had an anatomy book, i learned just by watching people how they move walking around the street and such. I had only a few life drawing classes of nude models but i find just watching people move and how the muscles work how ive learned.

I've been watching you for long and I do appreciate this idea !
I see good advices, like not to press too hard, simple but always to be kept in mind
Thanks for sharing with us you technique, this will be as useful as the final draw will be nice.
respect
Alain
