Description
Ok, this is the second last version in this tutorial. Here once again i added more detail as you can see but i left it incomplete so you can see what i have to do and what i havent yet done.AS you can see i have added more detail to the ribbon on the pole giving it a design. The hair on the woman is now more dark and 'hair like' and ive given shadows on the face under the eyebrow, i do this in all my images if you look closely.
Another detail which will take me about 20 minutes is the wings and the feathers which i do individually. Firstly i start off with the basic shapes of the feathers than i do a line down the middle softly. Then from the outside of the feather working into the centre i do pencil flicks going from dark on the outside to softer in the centre. I repeat on the other side of the feather and then its done. After this you gotta repear over and over til all the feathers are done, it may seem long but it is worth it in the end.
Also, i give my drawings a dark outline around the edges as you can see is added in this image, i do this to create a more comic style to my pictures but still have my own style done by the sketchy line work around these darker lines. By the way i never use pen or ink on any of my drawings, these dark lines are just pencil where i have pushed down harder than usual.
The next and final step will be submitted soon, keep looking for updates.

I noticed that about your drawings. The eybrow shade thing. If you want to go for something a bit more realistic, leave a lighter patch JUST under the eyebrow, above the shadow, and usually off to the outer edge. Works wonders.

I like it incomplete. It makes certain features stand out like you said. Great.
