A living nightmareI can not stay here
My eyes wide open
Yet I see nothing
If I could reach you
I might just get through
Cut through the cord and I'm paralyzed
Inside this cage
There are no bars
There are no locks
Nothing but the monster
That occupies my thoughts
I can feel it pushing
Trying to get out
Digging through my metal skin
While I scream and shout
Spinning, crushing, eating away at my mind
Happiness and sanity are things I can not find
I wish this wasn't real, I have nothing left to feel
Have to keep on searching
For something that can heal
Fill the emptiness inside my heart
Loneliness tears me apart
When this world comes to an end
I will have died with out a friend

I personally like it. The emotion in it flows right to my veins... even if it is bad emotion, the point of poetry is to have that. I think it is beautiful babe.
