so life life.incredibly life like.
i just need to clarify this.
this was drawn in 2003 and it is 2009 now, making it 6 years ago.you're 20 now so you had to be at most 15 or 16 years old when you drew it. if that is so then i am marvelled by what you do. true genni-ous.

You are A M A Z I N G !
Getting spastic fingers because i want to type too fast because of excitement. And you know why? Because i love art in its true form?
What's that?
Well, drawing with a simple pencil to make the most complex things that are simple to look like its real and to confuse the ppl. Its so amazing what YOU (points finger at you) can do with a pencil.
You got all my respect now lady.

This is amaging! "old" people are very difficult to draw. They have skin that creates so much shadow and texture, this is beautiful work. You oughta be proud.

Prima face your some of your pencil works are outstanding (like this one) but others like [link]
don't seem to have the same skill put in ... are you tracing the good ones then shading them? or have you just greatly improved you skills ... I'd love to see some more expressively done drawings ... not copies of already flat pictures but drawings of real 3-D life ... just anything real like a vase of flowers

Thanks for the comment The picture you linked is a few years old and is also done in pen, not pencil, so there was no erasing involved, that's why it's not as precise as my newer recent work. I've only just started doing work like "Hold Yourself Together" this year (and no, it's not traced). Future pieces of mine will be more like "hold yourself together" since I've taken a new perspective on art in the last year. As to your request to see more life drawing rather than photographic recreation, I do a ton of life drawing in my skechbook (that's where the majority of my time is spent) however I'd only ever post that kind of work in my scraps, if you want I'll start doing that. Thanks again for the comment

... please do put up some recent sketches, anyone can learn to shade but photo recreations (illustrations really) once you get past the 'wow is that a drawing' are generally pretty lifeless -- real character in drawings comes from the hints of the strokes ...
Your shading skills are brilliant ... I can't wait to see the 'new' art these skills translate into
