Lol I personally like both companies. Also some of the other companies like Image, Dark Horse, and Valiant have some good characters and story lines as well. Although, so far, only Marvel and DC have a Cinematic Universe (although other comic book companies have movies, they don't have a cinematic universe) where Marvel is doing way better so far, but to be fair, DC just started. I personally want DC to do better just so Marvel can have competition. This way it will force Marvel to make sure they are doing the best they can do so they won't "lose" to their rivals. Aka more good comic book movies lol so that will be a win-win in my book. There is a rumor that Valiant will create a Cinematic Universe soon
