Guess who put off studying in order to fix his laptop, and then proceeded to continue to put off studying in order to make this picture. Now you're probably asking yourself. "David, you dashing Adonis, you. However did you make this picture with your old copy of Photoshop having been lost when you reformatted your computer?"

With a completely legitimate copy of Photoshop that I obtained legally, of course!

That's my story anyway.

Onto the picture!

I started off trying to make it look like something Alphons Mucha [link] would have made, at which point I realized that I didn't know how to go about mimicking his style so that didn't really pan out. You can still see a bit of his influence in the picture (the hair, the background,) but it's not really the homage that I was planning. Don't get me wrong though, I still like how this picture turned out.

(I'm not putting a mature warning on this because I personally don't think it warrants it, but am I being too strict with my idea of what constitutes a mature picture?)

I decided that I wanted to have a picture with a bit of symbolism, and for what I was going for Eve was the perfect candidate. I felt kind of bad drawing this, but in my defense her wings would have blocked out all the details.
