I didn't follow the "rules"...at all lol.

I also had no internet at the time, so whatever's there was already on my computer, so I kind of had to "search for inspiration" if you will, haha.

Firstly, my faith. I'm a Messianic Jew, which pretty much means I'm a Christian, but I still follow Torah. I follow it because I don't think we ever should have stopped.
Anyway, really big influence.

The tsunami painting represents classical art in general. All the "original" techniques that inspire art today.

Ahh... where I live. Middle of nowhere pretty much haha. Inspiration some days, killer hindrance others.

My friends! Of course!

The art from Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker specifically though. I love the drawing style.

Mm...Degas ballerinas. Another classical art reference, but this one is more important to me, even though it's the same size as the other one. I was a ballet dancer for 6 years, and I miss it terribly. I had to quit because of tendinitis in my ankles. Every time I look at a painting by Degas during his ballerina sessions, I feel so alive. Very nostalgic, but so invigorated. I love everything about ballet.

The Grand Canyon. I went there last summer, and it was the single most beautiful natural piece of God's handiwork I have ever seen. Closely followed by the behemoth sequoias that walked among our cabins in California that summer. I mean WOW. This thing is...just... no words. It's something you have to see to really experience. Pictures will never do it justice.

I don't exactly like Obama, or where our government is taking us right now, but, I am proud of my country. I'm proud to be an American. And every time I see that flag I think of the sheer courage every single man and woman that has fought for our country. All the way back to the Revolutionary War. Those guys had guts.

Mario! He represents my childhood, because I totally grew up playing SMB 1 & 3, Duck Hunt, Back to the Future, and Excite Bike on our NES.

The paint chips, it's really just color. Color is one of the most inspiring things to me. I can't explain it.

JOHN IS AWESOME. He's such a great guy, I love him to pieces. He's one of the funniest and most creative people I know. Him and his art always inspire, without fail.

This kid, well, he's the first good thing that's happened to me in awhile. It's not that I couldn't be happy by myself, but he's someone to lean on, and someone to listen to. He makes me happy.

EDIT: So... he kind of broke up with me after 3 months of dating because he decided he didn't have time for me. You're a college student with a part time job and the most low-maintenance girlfriend in the world. But it's whatever, things with me are much better now. ...meanwhile his sister tells me he's bitter and more angry than usual all the time. :\

Vintage stuff. Always huge inspiration. Everything back then was legit. Made to last. Hardcore, hard working, and legit. Especially cars. These plastic cars, I know they're probably safer in the end, but they can't take any kind of small hit without showing it. Old cars' metal bumpers did just that. Bump off.

Anyway, that's it.
