I actually believe in God, or some sort of Creationism. Even though it's hard to imagine that something created the world, it's even harder for me to imagine that things just happened! Kind of like the clock has to have a clock maker thing. lol
In this world the light definitely is a fairy tail. Humans aren't good people. The dark side just feels so much better. It's hard to picture a life of all light. Like kind of stuffy? You need to have your ups and downs and express your innermost feelings. It makes us who we are.

Oh My Goth i cant believe u brought up my old friend God..i think their is something but very obscured to me..i struggle bad with depression so the dark is just oh so familiar..i went through christian ministry training for a year..a very confusing year..all i have to say about that is" God save us from your followers.!".evertime i have tried to plug into a church i find those fuckers to be more evil than the crowd down at the tweeker bars..as for the darkside i love to paint about it ..i recently postad an illustration called-Toxic Shame.-.i am telling everyone of my homie on the D; about this phenomenon..because it almost made me kill myself..if u know anyone very depressed they should look hard at this it will suffocate their lives if theydont get therapy alot of people have this more than u think plus its great resaerc for understanding the darkness of the human condition..i cant believe all the great work u have posted for being so young..Mad props to u on that! always remember this..every devil i meet is an angel in disquise..if we all walked around being stuffy how interesting would that be ?and what would we have to offer?..go watch the movie' Pollock' its about jackson pollocks life .he was so tragic..but interestig..if u want to see some kick ass darkworks..go tosuzzan-blac.dev..let me know whatchathink..

so how exactly do you get that rusty texture?

There's all kinds of brush textures you can find online and even on here to add in photoshop. :] Search "grunge" brushes and such. Also when you sharpen the layers that are all grungy or flatten the image and sharpen it just enough at the end, it makes all those gritty textures pop. Hope that helps a bit!

Haha, well, a good way to make creatures creapier looking is to not give them pupils, have sharp teeth and put shadow under or all around their eyes?
