My holiday picture for 2004 - again, I wanted to come up with an actual printed card, but lack of time, money, and the fact that this is only a tiny cropped portion of what should have been a much larger work prevented that. Still, I do love how it turned out... *warm fuzzies*

Hi! In the last two years I visited your page "The afterimages of Ghostfire" and I enjoyed with your works.
In your page you talk about Inno Universe and itΒ΄s characters. In this particular picture you draw yourself and other imaginary character, or not?
I love the history you made about Inno and I think that you should draw a comic where you narrate all about Teresa, Raziel, Collin...
The picture, obviously, itΒ΄s simply delightful like the rest of your work!!!

I would like to draw as well as you...

Sorry for all my english mistakes, but I am spanish.

HOLY SHEET. I'm really at a loss for words.
It's mostly the sheer amount of detail. I mean the highlights, shadows, shades are perfect.
The transparent clothing draped across her legs and the wrinkles on it, absolutely fantastic.
I really love the wings, it makes a really nice effect, protection, enclosement, shelter.
The highlights and shading on each feather, very realistic.

How long did this take you?
And what program do you use?
What kind of tablet did you use? (Size, model, ect.)

Also, can you make a tutorial?
I particularly like this kind of art, semi(or mostly)-realisism, the dynamic lighting and a sense of where they are,
instead of hanging in dead space.

My definition of beautiful and particularly "flops my mop".
This must've taken forever...
A definite favorite.

Gorgeous. I love the simplicity of it. It's a lovely holiday picture, it really works and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, even in March. The pose and colors are so beautiful.

I like it a lot. It's allways lovely to see your work.

I really like the detail that only one of them has wings and that they are beeing used to protect the other.

I had just started wondering if something happened to you, because you hadn't posted in such a long while. I am glad I worried without reason.

I like the choice of colours and the lighting very much in this picture. Both wonderfully convey they have found their own happy, cosy shelter just for themselves in midst of all winterly chill. It makes me so warm inside. ... and the contrasting colours are simply beautiful in their own right.

If only every Christmas were like that... So beautiful, Ghostfire. The lighting is definitely its shining glory (no pun intended), but still...it's very gentle and comforting. Gorgeous work.

I like it -- you really should have sized it bigger. A lot of the detail seems to be lost even in the full view :/

I would have, but like I said in my comments this was only a small portion of a much larger piece - this being the only portion that really got finished. So the canvas size overall was several times smaller than usual.
