Lol. My first time in Washington DC, and I got to go inside the White House!... well not literally "inside" the White House... I guess the garden of the White House would be better. It was damn hot that day! Well at least we got a special surprise, when we got back in NY, given to us by a very nice Secret Service agent guy at that time. X3 He gave us secret service pins! Heh heh heh... And you know why it is white? Because it had to be whitewashed to cover up the scorch marks after the Canadians BURNED IT!! MHUA HAHAHA!
Sometimes I really disagree with Hetalia's representation of Canada as being shy. Unnoticed and invisible to other countries? Sadly true. But shy? PFFT
But I will admit that the White House is really nice... The Prime Minister's residence on Sussex Drive just looks like a house. A big house, but just a house. There's pine trees planted all around the property, supposedly because one of our PMs wanted to be able to sunbathe on his lawn naked. Because we're Canadians, and we're cool (read: crazy) like that.
This is such a nice picture. The lighting is wonderful.

Haha It was just by pure luck that we got the chance to get this close to it! We were really only gonna see it from the gate until we found out that there was a special viewing of the White House Garden that very same day we went 8D
