Description
I stood at the crossroads for quite a while. I looked at one side and saw him, with the seal over the tigers' mouths, waiting like he was expecting me. His hands were tapping impatience with the world. I looked down the middle, and there was only red sand and sky, with a lonely version of myself looking up at the empty hollowed sun. I looked to the other side, and I saw him. His eyes were watering, and his mouth was painted like a faded flower. He was walking on a concrete wall, trying to read the messages taunting him from the cracks in the universe. I looked behind me, and I saw her. She was thick but thin and crooked, with all the blood in her going crazy. She was laughing like the world was a circus and her feet were muddy from the places she'd dragged them through. I looked up and I saw you. You were climbing up your hills and you were thirsty for another piece of life. I saw your crumbling palaces and all the corners of your soul that were made for sunshine.Related content
