Taken with the Nikon 8800
Converted to B&W, added some sepia, sharpened, and made a bigger frame than my usuall so it won't feel pressed.

wow. i jsut wanted to let u know that this peice is by far one of the powerful photographs i ahve seen in a while. i feel like i can really connect to it. i am not quite sure what it is about it that i feel so drawn to, but that is the beauty. all of your work is so fascinating to me. very very nice work. keep it up.

The image itself drew me (i liked the defocused tree in the bg and the very sharp dead leaf), but then the words made me...

You captured this really well. You can just see the struggle the leaf is going through. I like the juxtaposition with the trees being in the backgroiund and the lonesome leaf being in the foreground. The sepia is a nice add, which can also represent autumn and the b&w can represent winter slowly taking over.

I had trouble loading the large version yesterday so have come back for another look! Its a really nice shot. I love the way the depth of field has made the background look to unusually shaped and brought attention to the leaf.
