oohhh man this show's ending is so satisfying, like i can't even express how happy and wowed i was by it all.
duck is a treasure tbh and i love that rue is safe and happy and ugh tHIS show

I actually felt the opposite about the ending :''^)
I felt that it was kinda wasteful to the plot to have her stay as a duck for the rest of her life in the end :^^)

part of me really did want her to remain human but like the dance with her and fakir at the bottom of the lake of despair changed my mind.
like even though the show is partially about surpassing the roles society has given you, it's also about identity and using your true identity to surpass your given role.
and like duck /is/ a duck but that's why what she did was so great and glorious, and her (and fakir/mytho/rue) realizing that and accepting it in the end showed that everything she did, she was capable of doing by herself without magic or human form or anything.
i just ugh sorry to ramble, this show's just p fresh w/ meΒ
