Description
Edit: coloredTools: Faber-Castell aquarell
and sorry for not replying comments, i have problem managing my time lately.
no comment on my chinese writing, please
the drawing was inspired by a short story i read long time ago, i didn't have any info on it,
so in case you recognize it, do tell!
original size: A3
pen: BIC
... monotone because i have no idea how it wanted to be colored. i like it the way it is.
(rough) translation:
she is a webpage
he is looking for her on the internet
others think she is a special webpage
full of novelty and excitement
but her design is actually very simple
a very ordinary webpage
with absolutely nothing special about it
however, to find this webpage
he spends a lot of time and effort
her tries using a lot of search engine
but all that he finds
are similar to her
and none is her
even though he sees more attractive,
more interesting webpages,
he does not bother to look
there is only her in his mind
he tries again in the library
looking for her in books about webpages
maybe she is just too ordinary
not one book mention her
however, he does not give up
he continues to search for her.

not sure why i haven't favorited this yet..its a wonderful piece. i like the chinese writing and all the little details (the wing/hands!) and the little poem that goes with it.

Wow the linework is impressive. It so clean and percise in every direction, that floral pattern you have worked out through the characters bust makes this very interactive and creates an appealing lookaway from the busts them selves. The movement and flow is undeniably smooth and easy, the way the necklaces swirve and curve to make refrence to the next character in line and how on the left hair forms all those shapes. Very wonderful and whimisically attractive concept. I especially enjoy the hands and how they play into the picture, the wing one with the sun turning to leaves turning to feathers is particulallarly well done.

wow, thank you so much! i was initially afraid that having 4 heads and lots of details would be too crowded and too much. i didn't plan the drawing very well (design-wise) so your comment really meant a lot to me. thanks!

Wow!!! You're Chinese isn't bad!!! Loads of other people I've seen are way worse. It can be said that the better you are at Chinese, the worse your handwriting. So don't worry! I think I might put Chinese in my art too.
Well done again for the achievement! You're lines are so smooth and bold!

Wonderful picture~~!!! Was it a really popular book a while back in china? I think my friend read it... About a guy meeting a girl on the internet.... or it could be completely different lol.....

hey, sorry for the late reply -_-; been really busy (and fell ill) lately, hehe
Thank you so much for the complement! Actually the writing was not from a book, it was more from an article in a magazine but I found the story really interesting .... Probably because I feel like I'm the un-special website that is waiting to be found by "him" ... whoever "him" was, haha.
