most likely the wolf is the secondary antagonist, the ape is a support character, the main protagonist is Dwayne Jonhson and the main antagonist will be a surprise..
The wolf will die that's for sure, the ape, not so sure but likely and they'll try to make an emotional moment out of it..

Nah, it' ll probably be like The Iron Giant: the army is the first antagonist, the wolf is just a distraction, and in the end all three and the Rock join up to bring down the crocodile.
