This took me a few weeks to draw, sketching and inking and coloring them. But I finally got these done. There's always something badass about punching out monsters, and brutally awesome about slashing or stabbing with an unarmed strike. As such unarmed martial artists, their fighting skills, and any weapons that would fit are top tier cool for me. My only regrets to this collection? I didn't include an Indian pata (a sword-gauntlet), and a lot of the blades were drawn curved in ways they should be. I cannot draw a straight line to save my life sometimes. That may say something about my sexuality.Anywho! I threw in some RPG-inspired statistics and, for anyone who knows my older art, I also redesigned some of my older weapons for my current art style. Below are game-adjacent descriptions to fit my fantasy setting, the Beast Wilds. Bonus round: try to find the inspirations for some of the "unique" designs.

CLAWS & KNUCKLES
* Reach: Hand / Close / Extended
* Hands: 1 (light; may be dual-wielded)
* Damage: Mid
* Passive: Critical % Up (+10% chance to deal triple damage on hit)
* Classes: Barbarian - Monk - Ranger - Thief
CESTUS: "Studded gauntlets of leather strips, once worn by gladiators and pugilists in bloodsport. Each punch stings faces and busts jaws worse than bare knuckles".
No special effects.
KNUCKLE DUSTER: "Dwarven designed punch rings for close-quarters brawls, these could turn a light tap or two into a knockout. Forged from 100% real brass".
Small chance to cause Flinch on hit.
IRON CLAW: "Traditional weapon of the leonine, evolved for the Age of Wisdom. With a vambrace protecting the forearm, hooks and uppercuts can spill one's guts".
Raises user's Parry chance.
KATAR: "Punching blade from Nakrona, adored by human warrior-castes there. With proper prowess and aggression, even chain mail can be breached with one punch".
Deals Sharp and Blunt damage, using the more effective element.
JEWEL KNUCKLE: "Weaponized handflower bracelet, granting arcane power to its jewel-reinforced knuckles. Its curse may crystallize the flesh and blood of its victims".
Chance for defeated enemy to drop a random jewel on hit.
DEMON FANG: "Based on a punching knife, tipped with the fangs of fiends or unholy beasts. Victims of its stabbing punches will feel like their blood is boiling".
Chance to Poison on hit.
BRONZE CLAW: "First designed in the Age of Myth by the leonine, as extensions of their natural claws. Though made obsolete by steel, they tear flesh just as easily".
Chance to Bleed on hit.
HAYMAKER: "Strange enchanted pugilist's glove, dyed the color of fresh-spilled blood. Whiffs more often than not, but skulls shatter and guts rupture when it does connect".
Severely reduced accuracy. Always scores a critical damage on hit.
JOKE! Creates a "crowd goes wild" SFX on hit.
BONE KNUCKLE: "Eerie knuckle duster carved out of calcified bone. Solid cracks to the face spook even experienced pugilists, as if they'd never been punched before".
Chance to cause Fear on hit.
ARDENT CLAW: "Hallowed claw gauntlet dubbed 'the Beast Queen's claws'. Reacting to the user's resolve, the blades' heat can burn or melt through mundane armor".
Deals Sharp and Fire damage, using the more effective element. Chance to set Ablaze on hit.
GRIM GUARDIAN: "Cursed katar once brandished by a fanatical servant. Ever slick with conjured venom, though it oft seeps down and soaks into one's hand".
High chance to Poison on hit, but small chance to Poison the user on hit as well.
SERAPH HAND: "Sanctified gauntlet, granted by a high watcher of the archons. The slightest touch of its celestial silver plates is anathema to fiends and restless dead".
Deals Blunt and Holy damage, using the more effective element on hit.
RIPPER CLAW: "Cobbled together to tear the hopes of a child killer's victims and their families. It's said his ghost haunts its wielder's dreams, beckoning them to eviscerate helpless foes".
Deals Sharp and Dark damage, using the more effective element. Always scores critical damage on hit against a helpless foe (surprise round, Stasis, etc).
JINXED! Cannot be unequipped by normal means. User goes 'berserk' when an enemy is helpless, ignoring commands to attack the enemy.
PRIMAL CLAW: "Primitive pugilist's claw made of rugged material found in nature. Said to enrapture its user in life-or-death conflicts, invigorating them with the blood it spills".
Steals half of the damage dealt, healing the user.
