DOWNLOAD FOR ULTRA HUGE-O-MUNGOUS VERSION!My original character from Disney's Gargoyles.... Kelowna.
Quick on-the-fly made up backstory!? She's from a Scottish Clan and escaped the culling somehow(Don't ask me!) and was brought to the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. She took the name Kelowna from a list of BC towns...
Going to rewatch the series with my man as soon as I get a hold of it. I was drawing fanart of this show when I was, like, 11! Easy to get back into the style!

If I knew how to make a flash game, I'd think about making a girl gargoyle character generator..... Might be cool to play with colours, hairstyles and outfits.

Just a word of advice? I really like the character so far, her design is cool, but generally it's not a great idea to put 'somehow' in your character description. 'He/she/it defeated the Dark Lord somehow/saved a person somehow/escaped somehow', etc. Give it a little thought, I'm sure you can come up with something to explain the how/who/why. Just for future reference

You should DEFINITELY look into the flash thing! I don't know how either, but i have been looking EVERYWHERE for a gargoyle maker! Different animal features, tails, horns, legs, faces...IT WOULD BE AMAZING! Not to mention, your art style is ADORABLE!!!

Just a question about her back-story: Did you consider saying that she isn't part of the Wyvern Clan? She could have just been from another clan somewhere in the world like an English clan or something. Just easier to explain.

Practice, practice, practice! I only went to art school after YEARS of practice! I learned more ways to improve there too. I still draw all the time, and 4 years of working in the animation industry under my belt, I still have SO far to go!
Just try drawing in that style more often, watch how they make the eyes, where they're placed, how the lips are drawn. I still have a hard time breaking out of my typical 'manga style', so I feel your pain! Haha.
But I am making a gargoyles girl OC generator, so far it's only in lineart stage, not even in Flash yet. Once it's done, you can always springboard off it to make your character! <3

XD It's funny how all Garg fans seem to be drawn to one another, eh? I love her expression! I had the hardest time trying to make the face of the one I drew turn out well... and it's still sorta funky. Great job! I hope you man loves the series as much as it deserves to be loved.
