Hi! sorry for the late reply. sold my house moved into a 1940's house with no internet.(UG!) Thanks for the kind words. been busy finishing my first 'HOPE' comic. it's the first of a four part series. I've got some new conversions too, will have to wait until new house is built in June to put them up. Hope all is well, see you still rocking the conversions, (still jealous). Some day I'll get that good (HA!)
Later..
Craig.

Nice to hear from ya again.....and hey, good luck with the house, and with the comic! can't wait to see how it all turns out! I've been meaning to make a 3-D comic myself...something I've wanted since..well, since 1982, actually...*lol* Just haven't gotten around to it....in fact, I've been neglecting my 3-D work the past week or so because I've jumped headfirst back into a past hobby, making bullwhips. I'm about to start a hybrid.....a nylon core and belly with a leather overlay. Hopefully it'll be as cool as i'm imagining it. I'll post pics in my profile as I'm progressing with it. Right now just waiting on some nylon I've ordered on Ebay to show up...meanwhile I'm cutting the leather strands....I can't wait to start on it! But don't worry, I'm still doing the 3-D thing, too. I'll do another pic soon...already have one planned.

Bullwhips?? Hmmm... scared...yet must know more...(HA!). Things are good, just finished some conversions.
I'm trying to do more color work with the conversions. I just posted a 3D version of my cover for my book.
Hope you like it. Gotta crash out now, been up to long finishing stuff. chat with you soon.

Well, ever since I saw "Raiders" back in 1981 I've wanted a bullwhip...as my wife likes to say, I want to be Indiana Jones when I grow up (like I'm EVER gonna grow up. *lol*) But a good bullwhip can cost upwards of around $1,000.00....so I learned how to make them myself. I've already made a few, but I've been itching to make another one. I just BOUGHT my first whip the other day, too....a "budget" whip, which cost about $94.00, but definitely not a cheap, costume shop whip, either....it's from Magnoli Clothier...been familiar with his work since I first joined the forum at Indygear.com a long time ago...it's a beautiful 10-foot whip, and I can't wait to take it out and give it a few cracks...but it won't stop snowing, and I really don't want to drag this brand new leather whip through the snow...so I'm willing to wait awhile longer.
Your cover is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see the whole comic. Is it all going to be 3-D? Looking forward to seeing it regardless.
Ok, my lunch break is about over, gotta head back to work now...uugh...catch ya later.

Whew!! What a day. Dropped of my file at the printers, got a digital proof a few hours later.(yesterday) Everything was looking awesome until I got to the centerfold. IT DIDN'T MATCH!! in fact both halves were on
opposite sides of the same page (pg's 17+18 instead of 16+17) double UGG!! The one time I don't double check my layout and page count with a blank mock up UG,UG,TRIPPLE UG!. long story short, I was a page off.
I couldn't delete a page, so I had to add one. Soooo..I cheated. cropped a scene from another panel and created a new page one. Problem now was I was one page over my 20 pg limit. Now I have a 24 page book.
luckily I had some filler stuff .
Dropped off the corrected files today, got the new proof; it rocks!!. If you want you can give me your e-mail through the correspondence option here, and I'll send you a zip file of the book. I'll quickly delete the message once I have it.
the book is 2D, but have thought about doing a 3D, especially now that I can do some colored conversions ( thanks for the help). I'm gonna have to finish the "HOPE" books first. I have three more to do.
sooo... about this bullwhip stuff, have you taken any lessons on how to use one?? I hear they can be a bit tricky, and dangerous to handle. If you're not careful you may end up looking more like INDY than
you want to. What's this snow stuff you're talking about? I'm in California man. Shoot! we haven't seen water since the big one with that guy Noah ( HA!)
Well chewed on your ear long enough. I gotta crash out, been staying up way to late, and getting up way to early these last few days. Chat with you later.
