Description
Here is a typical page progression for me from start to finish (not including lettering). I start by blocking out my page to scale using an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet I print up with a bleed line. I find it easier to keep things proportioned correctly using this method. Once I'm satisfied with the page I'll enlarge it to 11x17 and light box it on 80lb press I buy from fed ex /kinkos ( a local printing store ) 200+ sheets for $25-30.00 bucks. I then ink it using MICRON pens and sharpies. (eventually the sharpie will turn bluish black and fade a bit) by then I'll have it in digital form. When I'm done with the inks I color it and letter it in PHOTOSHOP. I LOVE PHOTOSHOP!! I still have so much to learn about it, with each new project I'm getting better with it. So there you are, a page progression by yours truly. I hope you've liked it.Related content

Oooh! Thanks for sharing. Is it okay if I share this with some kids? I teach a 30 minute comic enrichment class at the end of each day and this might be neat for the kids to see/read.
