It's difficult for me to articulate proper words a lot of the time too but let me just say there's nothing quite so happy for me than knowing that someone else is happy :'D So I'm glad that you liked it!
and yessss that was exactly my intent! *U* I thought that the american-comic esque shading would be perfect for Brea's hero complex (and also for some reason gargoyles also associate with that block shading in my mind too I don't know why fff)

Seriously wow her pose is adorable and your shading is fantastic! The blocking of the darkness is really awesome, it gives this such a dynamic feel, plus her great pose and the angling on her wings and just everything. Waugh. *w* Her face is just great, too, I love her expression~

The wings took me a while to get right so I'm glad to hear that |D In my initial lineart one of the wings looked really out of proportion to the the other one so I had to redo the lineart for it several times fff
