Height chart + front view studies of my QT guys (and Gyou because he's fun)This is more a reference sheet for myself because I have a tendency to be inconsistence when it comes to drawing my characters together :I There are still some parts regarding proportion that I'm not entirely solid about here, but this is probably a good estimate of height/head size/leg-length/etc of each character.
Height differences are harder to discern with quads but it might be a good idea to compare the location of eyes, top of head, bottom of chin, and the bottom of the chest for a clearer picture.
Between Azeru~Loen is what I imagine to be the average xwee height, give or take, with maybe slight differences in gender. Everyone else is 'particularly' small or large- though Azeru miiight be a bit on the taller spectrum.
Gloopy, not featured, is probably larger than Haoma. FRIGHTENING.

Oooh height charts are so interesting and helpful~ I've been meaning to do one for my own characters but even the sizes I imagine them to be is rather fluctuent so that might be something I should focus on ehehe. |D
I love the variety in your characters though, they're all so distinct and their personalities really shine through their designs and expressions. I really love Loen's face for some reason and Rialtha is so tiny it's adorable. ;O;

Yeah I've been pretty fluid with the sizes of my characters too, so this was a sort of 'HEY LETS SIT DOWN AND REALLY THINK THROUGH ABOUT THIS' kind of exercise |D
I'll probably still fluctuate even now, but this'll be here to provide a little more coherence for myself in the future.

and Loen's face was probably the one that I had most difficulty with |D I had to redo him a couple times before he started looking like Loen, since I'm not very savvy yet with drawing longer-snouted characters from the front. They confuse me like heck sometimes, so I have to deliberately measure and translate proportions from the original (typically side-view) reference to MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
and sometimes even then THEY DON'T MAKE SENSE

At least you have something official to work with now! I still need to really sit down and decide about some of my own characters heights because sometimes I imagine a few of them as either huge or very little, there's rarely an in-between fdjgkflg. :II
Oh gosh I know that feeling with long-snouted characters. ;o; I have a few myself and drawing them from the front is just painful, IT SHOULDN'T BE SO HARD BUT IT IS. Long snouts are devious creatures. |D But he came out really well! I wouldn't have been able to tell you had trouble with him had you not said so. eue

I really like how they all have different body types, not just different heights. (o o)d All the different handwriting styles are really interesting, too~

Haoma was taller in the initial image before I fixed it up a bit |D He towered over everyone even more than he does here gahaha
But yes I love drawing lots of different body types *A* Even before I got back into xweetoks, my dream was to make a super bulky xwee character just for the sake of drawing it ahaha (and that turned into Karoth in the end)
and the handwriting was a tidbit that I threw in because I was bored |D The differences in handwriting sort of reflect a little bit of the personalities/background of each.

Oh fun! This is really thoughtful, like in the sense that you probably put a lot of thought into this. It definitely pays off and I love seeing all of their variances. Haoma must be huge! Such long legs, wow. And Rialtha is so teeny aghghgh I want to just squish her teeny little body. ;u;
I don't... really have a lot of headcanons for body size cries
What I do have, though, is that Ryli and Wrytt are basically identically sized; Ryo is on the smaller side, but has lanky limbs even though they're a bit shorter; Vaz is short and compact with good balance and a low center of gravity, which helps with her acrobatics and tightrope-walking; Channy is really rather tiny and petite; Josef is just ridiculously huge and compact and strong; Arkan is very tall but skinny, just as tall as Josef but not nearly his size.

and yesss Ria is teeny and squishy *m* I don't know how well she'd take to being snuggled though.
Oh good I was actually imagining Josef to be pretty big like that! *A* You know the little Channy and Josef doodle I did a while back? On the original sketch I had Josef with a more materialized/defined physical form, and he was relatively huge compared to Channy ahaha |D

He's just huge!! Ghghg I can imagine Ash being teeny and they'd be so cute together ahghg I love it.
Ahh yay that makes me happy *u* I've always had the headcanon that he's so big because 1) he's really quite powerful and 2) it makes the differences between him and Channy stand out that much more - it's meant to be vaguely comical, that he was this massive thing that was stuck inside of her for ages and once he's out and they have a healthy relationship she loves cuddling with him because he's just massive and good for snuggling |D;

This is a really neat chart. It's interesting to be able to see the height difference and body types, as compared to like, one adoptable done over and over again. I think it looks really cool

I've wanted to make one of these for a while now, it's a lot of fun to see size variation in everyone's characters :'D
personally I think Alexis would fit in between Loen and Iska, with Amni and Kisbi being Ida's height. Ranna would be around Faima's height, and Bontas at (roughly) Karoth's height.
