Description This is a sculpture I did for my year ten art class assignment. It was never fired in a kiln because the school doen't have one, but it's very dry... We also put some varnish on it. It was the first time I've played with modelling clay since Kindy ^_^.

I got an A for it I believe. I used a picture from National Geo for a reference, but lost it half way through and had to improvise.

Oooh! Impressive wings! I know how ridiculous feathers can be from sculpting them onto MLP customs. X_X

How big is your eagle in real life? It's hard to tell from the background.

Ummm... It's a bit bigger than a tennis ball, so not that big. But yes, the feathers were a nightmare to do! In fact, three of them fell off and had so be stuck back on numerous times...
