Description
A very early study when I started to work with the G-Mesh.Think this is my 3rd or 4th attempt with a portrait.
Lighting and the material were my points of concern anyways hope you like it.

Well most interesting as it turns out I had managed to find a Aeon Flux wallpaper and thats who this is.
Now that the movie is out images are popping up more and more, this was one of the earliest of them.
Im not going to change the title but thought I would edit the comment just so it was noted.
The reference I found almost a year ago...interesting.

Yeah it is her the funny thing was I did that way before I knew there was even a movie...so the source image was out like way before the movie.

I love the cloth texture, and the fact that light comes from the bottom makes it even better. Besides, the wrinkles in the ankle part give it that "imperfect" feel that makes it so realistic. +fav

Beautiful work but yeah I agree thet left eye could be improved, maybe darker. The left foot is a little weird, the heel looks somehow flat, and the hair looks a little stringy. Otherwise the texture of the clothes is smooth, really nice job, and the face is awesome

Question: Any recommendations for tutorials/how tos/sites for gmesh? It is a tool I've never used before, and my familiarity is mostly with PS rather than Illus but I have this shiny Intuos3 and really should take advantage of it.
