Description I was going to draw lions and fleurs-de-lis, then clone and attach them digitally. Then, I thought "Why not do that with the characters too?" So here it is, to remain forever unfinished. Can you name all the rulers? They come from different dynasties and time periods, but they have all had official rule in England and fought in combat.

Henry V?
Richard I Coeur de Lion
Is that a woman? Difficult to guess d:
the Norman-looking bloke looks like Williame le Batard aka Will the Conqueror
Difficult to guess the last one on the right too. Looks like a 7th century Anglic helmet.

Do you think Henry V really wore that helmet into battle? I looks like a jousting helm to me; it even has clamps on the front and back to keep it from moving. The only reason I drew him with it (instead of a bascinet) was because I heard he wore a great helm at Agincourt.

I don't think he wore that particular one into battle; it probably is a jousting helm.
I think he wore a Great Bascinet, which is basically a great helm with a moveable visor.

Excellent. All correct. The guy on the right is Alfred the Great. I googled "Alfred the great helmet" and it said that helmet was found in York during his time. I figured he probably used the same gear as everyone else, only better quality.  I shoehorned Boadicea in there because I didn't want him to be the only one of the non Norman descendants. She has paint on her face.
