Description
In the depths of space, the military of the Terran federation fully mobilizes to combat the ever growing threat of the Azen Empire.

Following the destruction of Port Armen the Terrans not only dramatically increased their naval budget, but began sending ships out to reinforce Fort Helman, as well as begin construction on a secondary military base: Fort Steiner, two military bases located well beyond the Federation's borders. It was from that moment the Terran Federation stopped sitting in it's borders and waiting. The Fall of Armen station was the beginning of aggressive military expansion. Xenon was ordered by both the Terrans, and Confederacy to cease military action, and that any ship leaving Imperial territory would be dealt with swiftly with military action.

The Federation deployed fleets in late January, 2770 to Pirate/Rogue Nation held territories. Areas that the Confederacy was having trouble breaking through and dispersing. The arrival of the Terran fleet took everyone by surprise. The Pirate forces were deployed along the confederate borders, and did not expect the rapid blitz of Federation forces. Territories were quickly consumed by the Terrans. Liberated colonies with a pre-existing population were given the choice to join the Federation, or to be left as is. With no standing government, no military, and little organization after what the pirates had left them. Most took the offer and joined the Terrans.

But their offensive did not stop there. It was a surprise to all of the nations of the Free Colonies when the 2nd Federation Fleet exited slipspace at Oasis's door in late March 2770. Oasis was found guilty of harboring an Imperial facility in it's deserts. Or so the Federation claimed. With this invasion came their decree.

"You are either with us, or against us. There is no inbetween."
