Description
Slowly it creeps out from under the covers,Gnawing its way through, inside to out,
Yet before it breaks through it stops and it hovers,
Leaving with me just a lingering doubt.
Until one day the doubt’s gone, it breaks free,
Embracing me in its absolute form,
Making my life his, taking from me,
Drawing me into the coming storm.
It hits like a bullet and tears through the flesh,
Blinding us all, far beyond ‘too late’,
But I feel it inside, each painful thresh,
I wait as it kills with its silent aggression,
With its quiet fury, it’s proven irate,
For this is the act of my final depression.

the firt stanza kind of reminds me of metallica's 'enter sandman', with how you personified the emotions as things that go creepy crawly in the night... >.<
the rest of it thouroughly describes depression, so it's a great poem =]

Interesting. I like that first stanza, personfying ideas. I also like the way that it reflects how I've often thought of suicide as simply dying from depression.

So you figured out the whole suicide thing? Awesome, other people didn't know what it was about, and I was like; "Come on, I practically spelt it out for you." But anyways, thanks for the comments.

I'd say the last line clarified it for me. I liked the fact it wasn't really obvious.
I'm fascinated with death so maybe it's clearer to me

Death is pretty fascinating; when I was young I was never able to sleep through the night because I'd be thinking about what would happen when I die, so I cried to my parents, but I was pretty young, and I don't have any religion, so that question still haunts me, but...yeah, there's no but, the question still haunts me, although I don't cry to my parents anymore.

I remember a teacher telling me, quite a long time ago that some time in our lives we'll think about why we're here and what happens when we die, and some people will become deeply religious and some won't, and some will go crazy thinking about it. It seems to be becoming more and more true as I get older.
But I'm not fascinated by the afterlife. I'm fascinated with death. I used to be obsessed with death, particularly suicide. For most of the day I'd think about ways of dying and suicide rates and interesting cases...

I used to do the same thing, but I didn't spend much time on it, I found out what I wanted to know, and then, stopped researching and stuff. I did it because I just like knowing things, I don't know why.

I researched a lot (I still research a bit). I became famous for my love of suicide websites.
What did you want to know, if you don't mind me asking?
Everyone likes to know things. And like you said, death is pretty fascinating.

I just wanted to know why suicide was so popular, what benefits did it have over going to get help, I wanted to know its connections to depression, mostly, I had a friend who said she was going to commit suicide, and I just wanted to know how I could stop her.

When I was thinking about it as I wrote it, it was about the feeling of commiting suicide, although you know, I wouldn't know what that feels like or else I wouldn't be responding here to your comment. But after finishing it I didn't really know what it was about, which is why it took me three weeks to decide whether I should post it or not. But anyways, thanks for the comment.
