Awesome shot!!! So glad you captured that beautiful body of water! I haven't been to Lake Michigan in a few years. (I wanna walk the dunes to get there!)

We see this over lay lake occasionally.
And we have even seen that 'once in a blue moon' moon.

You are the first of some 20K viewers to be frightened by it. But that makes you unique, not a lunatic. Being able to see something others miss is what makes an artist. What is that saying; "Look for the extraordinary in the ordinary". Explore your reation and reply to me with a comment about it. It could be fascinating.
Cheers

Really?! out of all those people, NO ONE else found this frightening?
I mean...I can't explain what it is; when we usually see the moon, it's way up there in the sky with the white/yellow light...and then to see this, so close to the earth, as if its about to touch the sea, and the dark ominous orange

Yes, set down the beer.
Canon EOS 5D
Tv 1/80 sec
Av 5.4 - (don't ask me why on this one.)
ISO 1000
Lens 200mm 1:2.8L II
Extender EF 2x II
Focal Length 400mm
Picture Style-factory setting : Standard
Tri-Pod
I'm not happy with the noise so I may smooth it out at some point. For now I've left the image alone.
