She`s absolutely wonderful...
It reminds me at the good old 50 or 60ths and works of Vargas or Elvgren...
That`s great!!!

Are her eyes green? *squints* 'cause I was thinkin' if they are, the blanket(?) that she is sitting on may have been better green.. (color pallettes ftw) Anyyways!! Very cute, I love it, asss always..

In the drawing I made her eyes gray. But I think in reality she has bluish green eyes.

I actually think you did a good job with the feet, I was looking at my feet in the ref pic and was wondering how on earth you would be able to draw that! I think you made my feet look better in your drawing than they do in the photo, which is a plus.

Hey Brian,
Wow, very nice rendering of Kim, it looks so natural and you have captured her expression perfectly. I'm sorry Brian..........the feet do look underdone. I think alot of artists go over hands and feet quickly (kinda like I do with hair). After drawing so many feet myself, I think they are as important to the drawing as any other part.
The hair looks fabulous and flows so lifelike. The eyes are realistic and have a wonderful sparkle. The smile is indeed beaming and radiant.
Cheers,
Craig

Yeah I know what you are saying about the feet. This drawing is pretty small, I don't know if you looked at the WIP picture I posted. There were just too many tiny folds in the skin for the feet. So I did take a shortcut at that point. Thanks Craig, looking forward to seeing your drawing of Kim. Hope you start feeling better too so that you can get back to drawing.

Lovely work, she looks so beaming with happiness. But Federico is right about the feet , 'twas my first thought, too. Everything is fine, but the feet look like you were tired.

Yeah I did kind of overlook the feet. It's such a tiny drawing and I wasn't going to be able to get tiny details on them anyways. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Helena, yeah it is lighter. I used bristol smooth on this so it didn't have alot of tooth to hold the pigment.

Thank you. It took probably about 10 hours total. I wasted alot of time building up the skin tones. I started out really light, I guess I was just scared. I need more practice with colors.

you welcome the one thing that makes colors difficult is you have to do twice the work to make
it look as detailed as black in white portraits.
