FINALLY I have a chance to share this! I made this practically a month ago and chose not to post it because it would spoil a major part of the story. You may have noticed that I've used part of this as my icon for this account.

Velore and Clair climbed up on top of the mountain they were on; the roof of the cave. The top was almost flat, and certainly big enough to fight a dragon on.

Tregondor crashed through the gate barring the giant opening on the side of the mountain. He flapped his wings and flew up to the top. He roared and swooped at Velore. He managed to grab Velore with his hand. When Tregondor landed on top, he pinned Velore to the ground.

Velore was trapped under Tregondor’s massive claws. He couldn’t use his sword. Tregondor stared down at the trapped boy.

“Foolish mortal,” Tregondor thundered. “You’re no hero. You’re just the same as every human I’ve known; a pathetic coward.”

Clair was watching in fear, but she chose not to intervene. This was Velore’s fight, after all. She hoped Velore had an idea on how to get out of this.

“Enjoy your last few moments of life, boy,” Tregondor said. “It will all be gone before you know it.”
