Honestly the picture looked a lot better before I cropped it so my SSN wasn't in it. I will be making attempts to take a similiar picture that I don't have to crop.

Maybe using a severe DoF? I don't know if you could use that to blur it enough to make the SSN unreadable.

What branch were you in. Oh yeah, I read your DoF comment right after taking the pictures. One of them turned out like that. All that was in focus was the EZ in my last name and some of the chain. I might post it. If I do I'll give you a holler.

3 years active with the US Army. Aircraft Mechanic on CH-47C "Chinooks", 2 1/2 years (81-84)in Mannheim, Germany with 295th AVN Co. (now defunct). I've spent the past 20 years working for the Navy, though.
