Thanks a lot Kim - it's not likely in the near future, unfortunately. I still have the negative, but it takes at least 5-8 orders to be profitable/affordable .

I never heard of this guy he looks like a character. It must have been very difficult sculpting without a model what did you do use a bunch of diffrent photos?

He most certainly was! And a milestone in philosophy as well, his book "The World as Will and Representation" would be an essential-to-read-in-your-lifetime book.

I am used to a sculpting process based on photography and/or drawings. Starting point here was a series of original photographs and a painting from 1859, I made my own drawings based on this material trying to catch the head from different perspectives, then I started sculpting...

Thank you! In 1999 2 bronze cast were made, unfortunately both are sold. I am still holding the model (clay, wax) as displayed here, but this not for sale, I am sorry. I would need to produce a fresh bronze cast.
