When she told me, it felt like I had been hit with a block of bricks and a bottle of gin. It didn't seem right. No, actually it did. I just wasn't ready for it. I started to freak out. I needed to get there and see her. I needed to go right now. For some reason all of the cars on the highway were going xceptionally slow today. Thetears were streaming down my face as I thought how this was the last thing we needed. It was trhe final straw, it would pull our family even farther apart. It took us almost an hour to get there and by that time I was completely out of it. I saw familiar figures in the waiting room, but I didn't really realize who they were until they were right next to us giving us hugs. That was when I realized how much I was shaking. Already I was off to oa bad start on the weekend it was only Friday.
