Got alot of explaining to do on this...Brace yaselves!!!
Ok; ya know the dude who's supposedly Aerrow's dad in the opening? Yeah; well I like the fact that he's got a dad, now it's the whole "WHO ARE YOU???" thing with Aerrow ya know? X3 Just bloody fascinating!
So: I name The dad Rook, 'cos well...this was actually an accident that fortunately co-incided with the fact that I wanna make Ace Rook's younger brother (I Have a fic for this! FF.net "Lion King Complex"!) So, Aerrow's Ace's nephew in my head...yay...!....?
Right anyway, I reckon that Aerrow's mother died in childbirth *ON the Condor irionically* after Rook and her broke up ya know...one of those "sorry it didn't work out scenarios", nothin' tragic..well obviously there was when she died but...yeah
Right well I reckon that Rook was gonna take the baby Aerrow back to his home terra...wherever the hell that is...when suddenly, literally outta the blue his 14 year old brother *AT THE TIME* collapses at his feet with a gun in his belt.
Long Story short--brother is Ace; their gambling father died from natural causes, the mother eloped, the step-father beat the mother and Ace, Ace stays with 22 year old brother and newborn nephew.
Rook couldn't bear to abandon his boy to who knows what; even if their father was dead he just couldn't do it--he'd never really bothered to get close with his own dad.
So years later, he's cuddling his little boy, chuckling at the apparently abandoned "No more naps" plight and just thinking:
"A sky knight's job is to protect those who need him; and how can he possibly call himself a sky knight if he can't even protect those closest to him: His own family?"
...I hate Rook's hair on this!

ever since I saw this, I have been imaging weird things, like at the final battle; aerrow can't kill ace because "I may hate you, but your still my uncle, and I can't sully my father's name by killing his brother" (btw, picture the other storm hawk's faces when he says this [O.O O.O O.O O.O O.O]such a "WHAT?!?" moment). Or, aerrow and the storm hawks finding aerrows dad on a deseted terra and his dad kicking ace to...the storm hawk equilvilat of timbuktu (lecturing him during the entire fight). or the rooftop fight between Leo and Raph from the 2007 TMNT movie with ace as raph and Aerrow as leo "and more importantly, im better than you!"

I love ya idea there of Aerrow's dad grappling with his younger brother but giving him the "I'm so dissapointed in you" speech, quite expertly at the same time XD I mean it would speak volumes considering their mutual fate--and nice analogy between Leo and Raph, I s'

yeah, now if only ace were JUST not evil enough to not kill rook, but instead dump him on the deseted terra.
The man gave the team a calculating stare
"who are you, and how did you get that ship?"
Aerrow stepped forward with all the poise of a general
"I am Aerreo and this is my team, the storm hawks."
"Impossible, I am Rook, leader of the original stormhawks, and the only survivor" 'Rook' suddenly froze and stared into Aerrow's eyes, searching for...somthing.
"Wait, did you say your name was Aerrow?"
Aerrow couldn't believe her ears, the took one look at the strange man, his father's eyes, build and age...but it couln't be, he let out a strangled whisper
"...dad?"

Awww... real cute. That's a really scary coincedence... You know why?? I named one of my OC's (Starlings brother) Rook though he has bright yellow eyes and purple hair... He also has a wife called Vera and a kid called Kes... Lol, what goes around come around as they say...
