You just make some white polymer clay rectangles and then print of tiny little versions of the covers (downsize them in Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc.) and then just fold it over the polymer clay you made 
I'm not the artist, but I saw a tutorial based on this and it's actually pretty easy looking

Sounds great!! How much do you charge for each book? My bracelet is a Chamellia charm bracelet, but I can just take the book and clip it onto a blank charm for my bracelet.
