Description

One never knows when an opportunity will strike, In this case it was stepping out the front door.

At first glance what appeared to be an icicle floating in space, ( which would be a really neat trick ) was in fact a broken icicle which had formed around a long hair frozen to a railing, and has been snapped off and is now hanging by said hair.

Shooting this one wasn't easy as there wasn't a great back drop to play off, to add to it, it was at night, and the icicle was slowly spinning in the light breeze making it that much harder to focus on, so I focused as best I could with a narrow depth of field, the outside lights added the soft boken effect.
