Let go? Never!The deep limbic system is the part of the brain that feels deep emotions, more activity (I presume) means more stimulation, therefore having John around has increased the vibrancy and emotion of Sherlock's life.*
I made this to kind of make up for my valentine's day comic, which what pretty soul crushing: [link]
*(I could be totally wrong about this, the brain is a very complex, weird thing)

i want a card like that. my friend once nicknamed me sherlock, even though i'm a girl, because he thinks i'm emotionally stunted and anti-social. he's my watson, a ladies man and a more sociable person than myself. i think i'll give him a card like this next time i see him.
