I've never seen Sherlock act like such an idiot with everyday tasks and materials like in this series. He's like The Doctor, brilliant in some areas but a complete idiot when comes to common sense stuff (at least The Doctor has an excuse being an alien and all.)

Lately, I've taken to search for dark, angsty Sherlock-stories. I love to read stories - fanfiction - about his past as a junkie. About how it might not always be past... About angst. About highs, withdrawals, rehab... How John's love helps him better through it than Mycroft's forcefulness.
You know.... Romantic angst. Or angsty romance.

I do really love angst. I have yet to read a single fanfiction, what's your favorite? I'm usually turned away from them by the not-so-good writing and that Sherlock and John can get really out of character. I've hear of alone on the water, but that's the only one I know. John would be a brilliant narcotics anonymous coach. just saying.
