Description
OMG, could it FINALLY be that fourth page? The one I meant to finish just over a week ago, but sudden news that I drastically needed to alter my portfolio website managed to interrupt and mangle its timeframe?Yep. Sorry bout that. I hate it when urgent things come up.
At least I have the next several pages sketched, and the very next one inked and ready to color.

Hahah, thanks! Yea, i hope I can get as many watchers for the comic as possible, Ive developed its story for ten years now and it's pretty long and epic.

OOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm so excited about it! It's really amazing when a very good story is long

thanks!
Yea i think im just going to bring back black, more pronounced and finely tuned linework and keep the better colors and shade... that will be a nice balance...
Dont mind me, im constantly thinking out loud about this lol

well, I don't consider myself to be. ^^" Let's just say I'd be sitting there with my sketch pad for a half an hour. XP

Hehe, thanks. Its odd how taxing it is... I wanted to color the linework and blend the whole thing in nice and neat like a really solid illustration, but for times sake you really can't do that in a comic. Oh well! I was mostly pleased with how their school came out on top.

Yea I was eyeballing the architecture. Nice playground, btw.
Color can be incredibly evil. Seems like a sweet, simple task.. Turns out it takes many tweaks and twice the time of linework (at best).

VERY true. And thanks lol. Albeit i should shrink that playground now that i look at it. To that scale, the tower and slide are genuinely the size of a 2-story building.
This school is huge. Encompasses ALL grades K-12. Nice 'n shiny ' new.

There's huge kids in the school, thusly there should be a huge playground. More turrets I say!

hmm... baby-firing turrets.... You should avoid giving me these ideas...

The first and the last panels look amazing. I especially love the colours in the last one.
Interesting development. Can't wait for the next page!

thanks! Yea, i actually have probably about 1.5 years worth of material written for this comic, I wrote the whole story out as a book a few years ago. So the only delay in updates will be if something ever interrupts me from sketching.

As a book? Wow.
My friend and I actually have like 20 pages worth of comic book material, but college keeps getting in the way. I write, she draws (mainly 'cause I suck at drawing like you wouldn't believe). It's quite a bit darker than what you have here (but given that I'm a huge Miller fan, that shouldn't come as a surprise).
Anyway, great job. I can't wait to see more - especially since you've got the whole story already outlined. It'll be fun trying to guess which direction you took (well, after I get more detail on the characters).

Thanks! Yea, the original book is over 200 pages. My teacher in Senior English during High school gave me 250 points of extra credit for it, meaning i was allowed to bypass our final and walk out early. WELL worth it, lol.
I'm very proud at how the characters developed over time, and I'm very excited to finish animating them here! I want to fill them with life so everyone can enjoy them.

My English teacher was afraid of me writing. I think it has something to do with the fact that our graduation essay was supposed to be only 20 pages long (tops), and mine was over 50. And she didn't even like my chosen topic! (I think I broke her.) *snigger*
Anyway. Fill them with life? I rather think you've already got that going for you. The facial expressions you do are very funny, very vibrant and generally amazing.

She writes "kill me now" on her math tests.
I like her.
Ha ha, this one time, I drew a picture of me falling asleep on my desk on a math test... but I finished the math test and got a 93% so my teacher only thought it was cute. >>;
I can never draw buildings, I am impressed.

Heheh. Yea, i wondered if anyone would notice that I scribbled that on there. I'm impressed you saw it.
I did that on a math test once. I think thats why I put it on there.

Oh, jeez! I put stuff like that in my drawings all the time! If you could look at the layout and sketches of my pictures and my crappy comics (the only one of which that's actually on DA being my half of the pages for this tournament I'm in with a friend) you would see that the script in the final version has absolutely nothing to do with what's on the page. There are arrows and strange comments and...
