Description Well, this is my 3D-model of Stitch that I made in Rhinoceros (that is one of programs for 3D-modelling) long time ago and animated in the 3D Studio MAX.

Unfortunately, GIF-compression corrupted some color shading.

Stitch -in his TRUE form. (It's a bit much for humans to gaze upon, so he morphs to not clash with earth evolution and anatomy esthetics.)

Cool!, Nice job.
How many time took it to do?
Rhinoceros is like 3Ds max?

omg!!! Thats wiked!! One thing I've always wanted to do was to make a 3d Stitch character as a Jedi.. in the comic I'm thinking about doing lol I think it would be cool having him in it instead of a yoda

ok... my dad got hurt and i cant work on my comp as often at home... this will delay the work sorry. ill get results soon though...hopefully.

kylealdrete [2007-10-09 21:06:46 +0000 UTC]

youll get some soon. also what exactly did you make this model out of? all of it seems to be just normal polygons... is that what you used or is rhinoceros different than 3ds max?

ps. the whole thing is now only 11 different pieces when i connect the ears ill be able to put bones into it and make it move. sound good?

GrayAliEN In reply to kylealdrete [2007-10-10 16:42:35 +0000 UTC]

Well, I used NURB-splines for modeling. Polygons arose because of converting into MAX format.

ps. Really good!

i got the head animated...and 1 of the fingers...its harder than i though...i just figured out how to speed it up though so you should have great results in about a week. sorry for the long delay

THIS IS AMAZING the 3d modeling you did is great! im making a stitch model but the smoothing pretty much destroyed its realistic quality...can i use yours as a reference?

That is awesome, especially for a first attempt. I wish I could offer some critique, but I know nothing about modelling or animating.

GrayAliEN In reply to Lilostitchfan [2005-12-12 16:47:30 +0000 UTC]

Jack-of-Clubs [2005-12-11 16:39:22 +0000 UTC]

should use some more smoothing, i can still see the poly edges

Jack-of-Clubs In reply to GrayAliEN [2005-12-11 17:00:06 +0000 UTC]

well... it does need smooth... because i see poly edges... it should be easy to fix
