Thank you. Some days, I wonder if his markings should have been more elaborate than this, with more black and white marks. But overall, I still like his look.

I quite like the fact it's barred, as opposed to a solid shape. Makes him all the more distinct, as if being glaring red wasn't enough.

To be honest, I haven't yet woven a plot around this whole idea of TF orcas, other than they're fun to redesign. I'm thinking something to do with the differing ecotypes somehow factors, but as I'm currently trying to work out each Decepticon's physical look (as I'm focusing just on that side of the TFP cast for the time being), I can't say I have as much time to jot down whatever writing ideas may be gleaned from it.

Thank you. This started with nothing more than a rough sketch of his face. Once I nailed down that expression, it was, "Okay - gotta do the whole thing now. That expression is too good." I'm particularly happy with his eyepatch, and how it includes an 'earmark'.

Yes. Breakdown, and possibly the rest of TFP's Decepticons, should follow. It's just a matter of taking them one at a time and picking which traits to include/emulate.

He'll probably the next one I'll try to redesign (those eyebrows would make wicked-looking eyepathes). Him or Breakdown. Seems like the bulkier the robot mode, the easier to re-envision it as an orca.

But if I do go through with it and re-design the rest of the Cons, Shockwave will probably by the strangest: cyclops orca. Or Airachnid, with all her limbs. I'm thinking a spider-esqe saddlepatch will fix that. Or maybe it won't... *goes back to sketching*
