There's reason why Ann Marie wasn't included in the sequel. If you didn't know poor Judith Barsi, who voiced Anne Marie in the original "ADGTH" was murdered by her so called monster of a "father". After it happened they decided to scrap Anne Marie's character completely in the sequels and stuff. (It's what I read even though Don Bluth had no part of the sequels at all but yeah. That's what sadly happened. She was basically a one time character before that awful tragedy to Judith happened. If she survived and had a chance to grow up, I bet we could of seen her voice Anne Marie again in those sequels. Poor thing....     )

And also,Charlie was not the same without Burt Reynolds,since his personality and gangsta/tough guy persona made Charlie so likable. The movie would’ve have been about Marie if Judith Barsi wasn’t killed by her cruel abusive father in 1988.

I nearly cried when I found out about what had happened to Judith Barsi. That poor kid had such a hard life anyways and for her father to kill both her and her mother like that still makes me sick to my stomach. The things some people do to others is so horrifying to take in, especially when it involves an adult killing a child. It puts this terrible rage inside of me that anyone can relate to

I did too. My heart broke when I read about her. Someone should of protected her better or got her away from him ASAP before it was too late. (I think it was also her mother Maria's fault too though. I know she was afraid of losing the house and stuff, but her and Judith's lives escaping that monster and staying far away from him as much as possible should of been more important. If she and Judith just stayed at that condo they rented to get away from Jozeph without ever going back to that place where he was and where they were already living the whole tragedy would of never happened I bet. She made a very bad move of going back there with Judith to put their lives in danger to get the both of themselves killed by him.   She should of knew better for both her and Judith and to especially keep her far, FAR away from him and to protect her from him as much as possible. And I bet if they had more people who believed them about that awful situation and if they had people help them escape him or get him in trouble or in jail for life or something, I bet the whole divorce from Jozeph would of worked and they probably would of been still alive today. Her idiot father was sick in the head. It's so sick and terrible he would even do something like that, but I bet he's getting the punishment he deserves in the underworld.   I bet Judith and Maria are far away and safe from him up there in the afterlife too hopefully. <3

I wish I could kill that pyschopath before he killed his daughter and mother,then Barsi would not become a angel like Charlie did in the movie.

I'm sure everyone would've wanted to save those two from that evil man. And to make matters worse, that slimy coward killed himself right after he killed Judith and her mother and burnt their house down.

Yeah,I can see why Charlie’s former partner and traitor,Carface in the movie was probably inspired by Josef because much like Josef killed his wife and daughter,Carface made Charlie drunk during a Mardi Gras Party and killed him by pushing a car downhill over him. God,we just realize how cruel Carface is than Charlie much like how Josef is to Judith.
