Description

Din Din was the one that found Alf basically living feral in the Cat's Way. She had the wisdom to know raising him alone would have done him a disservice, and eventually took him to a Hamlet.
Traditionally, Familiars rear the young in their world. Spirits that die as kittens go to a Hamlet until they’re old enough to have a fighting chance. They take their job very seriously.
Alf made them work for it.
His time there was short, but he walked away more educated than he’d walked in. They had a rough start, but he made a gentle impression- because he’s sometimes allowed back in as an adult.
(Familiars take one object that belonged to their master with them when they leave. The white cat is covered in googly eyes because she rolled around in the craft basket. Now she sees all.)
