So I'm pretty sure most of you guys saw the latest trailer for Pokken Tournament which revealed Pikachu, Gardevoir, and Suicune as playable characters. This pretty much confirms that quadrupedal and non-fighting type Pokemon can be playable characters, so I just figured I'd share which Pokemon I would like to see in the game. Feel free to talk about which Pokemon you want in the game in the comments below!Update: Just realized right after I uploaded this that there was one pokemon I forgot, and it was Garchomp

You forgot the Sinnoh and Johto starters.
Out of all of them, I don't think Venusaur, the birds, or the Latis fit in the roster, though Hawlucha can still fit.

While I see it as really nice, how much do you know about developing a lot of characters in a fighting type game?
From what I know, any new Fighting Game Title always starts with very few characters: about 12-18 characters in total. If the game is proving to be successful however, they will add more via new sequels and DLC. I suggest that you may examining the roster total of the Super Smash Bros Series.
So Gregster, since Pokken Tournament will come in Japan soon, who are the first 12-18 pokemon that you may be able to play? Then how many more would you add if sequels come in the future.

As for the remaining pokemon, probably Hawlucha, Greninja, Blaziken, Breloom, Pangoro, Mienshao, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop and Mewtwo

Ok then. But with the current Famitsu revealing Blazkien as the next reveal character, I want to hear your opinion as to who will be the first 14 pokemon of this game. If we are to analyze the character roster box from the official trailer, 14 characters + the random button will fit:

-Machamp
-Gardevoir
-Suicune
-Pikachu
-Weavile
-Charizard
-Blaziken
So who do you think will be the last 6 pokemon for this first game? Keep in mind that other characters ca come later after the first game, IF it succeeds in Japanese arcades. If not, welp, its game over (worst case scenario).

There's a lot of pokemon on this list I really want on this list (dusknior, darmanitan, Deoxy's, sawk and throh duo, etc)
But 2 pokemon on this list that I think NEED to happen is Toxicroak and Scrafty

Seriously Nintendo/Game Freak. The more you neglect Raichu, the more frustrated fans become. Pikachu is already in Smash, would it kill you to let Raichu have SOMETHING FOR ONCE!?

why do you all the starters but gen 4 and 5 all of the starters from both regions have more of a chance than delphox or venasaur

I didn't do the Gen 2 starters either. The reason I did predict the Gen 2, 4, and 5 starters is because they are not focused as much as the Gen 1, 3, and 5 starters in either XY or ORAS
