What if the 6th Edition Rulebook for Warhammer 40K (amazing artwork inside, by the way) had starred the Rainbow Warriors Chapter?PS: The Aztec interpretation for the Chapter is not my idea, credit goes to Phillip S. and Aquilanus, a good mate from the Bolter & Chainsword forums.
Hope you like it, mates. I promise to be more regular with my submissions, from now on.
But first, a piece for the woman I love.

When I was REALLY young I thought of thus very idea.lol a space marine chapter that would be Aztec inspired. I thought of them a little mote slimer and I pictured them with fashioned tractable claws on their feet. Awesome concept, thanks for bringing memories back.

Took me long enough to get around to making a dA profile (I'm not an artist, so I feel like I'm infiltrating here *lurk* )
Whilst Greyall has credited Phillip S and I with their Aztec theme, I can't take too much in the way of credit - there have been a fair few Rainbow Warrior armies in the last few years before my interpretation and quite a few are in a similar vein. As many will know, I do have a seriously difficult time shutting up about them as a Chapter and this artwork.
However, I do want to say this - Greyall hit the nail on the head for certain when he did this.
It's been sometime since he did this piece and whenever I look at it I STILL have to hold my jaw shut.

Blame GW. But the name comes from some mythos about warriors from the world of the dead traversing a rainbow road. It's more awesome than it sounds
