While mistaking the chance.

What is this opaque vision.
This semi-clear confectionery of my mind.
Like the soft feeling under the fleeting foot.

Wonder how I got so hooked.
While skies shatter in the distance.
And lungs fill with smoke.
Lips within the pertaining shadow.
Perfecting the temporary.
Filled with new memories.

Fake visions instilled within me.
Not so fake for this dreaming.
Wrapped within my own abandon.
Whisked away in this tandem shadow.

Waiting, wishing whilst it slows.
Casting down a few new ones.
Sliding far down.
Breathing liquid not to drown.

Part away under touch.
Anticipate the next brush.
Delving deeper with every night.
Numb to both realities.
