i always have too. but now i love them more than ever because OMG! INDIVIDUAL PERSONALITIES! from what i remember, everypony in the older MLPs had pretty much the same personality. except rainbow dash (dahhhhhling!) and mintie (omg, i messed up everypony's christmas! D: i know! i'll give them socks so they won't be sad! ...omigosh. i just figured out where the "ponies in socks" fandom REALLY originated). mintie actually used to be my favorite character, just because of the sheer derpyness of giving ponies SOCKS for christmas.
