We come in peace! Please lower your weapons, we are not armed.” The guards are tentative, approaching the group of strangers with caution. The villagers look on with curiosity. They clearly seem to trust the guards. Several of the villagers who had previously looked uncertain at the unfamiliar group now seem relieved. The guards, upon looking them over and seeing they clearly aren’t armed and are cooperating, lower their weapons and begin to escort the team down the path.
Since the tension seems to have passed, several young Kits pop out from the crowd to get a closer look at the strange outsiders. They nervously inch closer, and Penny smiles, waving at them as the curious youngsters check them out, pulling on their clothing and giggling.
