BUSTED. OH.

As good a thief as he is, it's surprising how many times he's been caught. Not by human authorities mind you...he's not quite that stupid. However, the Figment City Law Department has busted him at least four times in the last five years. They haven't caught him yet, but they've come really, really close. WAY too close for comfort. Paolo usually gets hired out by a group of theives to help with the sneaky stuff, which he is oh-so-good at, but not the planning, which he is...well...oh-so-bad at. (He's tried to steal a certain painting by Matisse multiple times with no success. But hasn't come out completely empty clawed...he got a sprained tail and a bunch of smashed toes for his troubles via a very angry Figment lawyer who was pursuing him.) It's safer for him to work with a team, since that way, he won't behave so impulsively as to get himself into trouble. Of course, Paolo would much rather work solo, since he's too unpredictable and catty to work with most other phantasms. He gets...a little bit...eh...'diva-ish'...when he doesn't get his way. Huffy spoiled and rude, I mean...not what you're thinking. Jeez.

(Pen and ink, microns, photoshop colors. Yes, I retraced some of the thinner lines on his jacket because they faded out when I desaturated the colors.)
