Appearance: Flash is black with reddish orange chest, and light gray underbelly. He has orange flecks in his fur, and almost golden like fur on the top of his head, as well as the underpart of his tail.

Backstory:
Flash grew up in an odd situation. He had a mother, but his father was unknown. Apparently she'd come to the warren pregnant after a long journey, a journey in which some pet rabbit like her could never survive alone. And apparently she hadn't, his father was rumored to be some rogue hare, as fast as lightning and struck hard like thunder. But... He'd been lost during the great journey to the buttercup hill warren. It cost him his life, but his kits and love survived. A fair trade it seemed. Flash grew up wondering about him, though he'd never met him, he felt closer to him whenever he ran. It certainly put a smile on his mother's face when he did so. He'd get into a bit a trouble once in a while, accidentally running into rabbits and trees, tumbling over from clumsiness, and they'd have to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't wonder off too far.

It was easy to tell that he would be a fast one, catching the attention of an Owsla member early on. As he grew older, the hope was he'd get bigger, but he just didn't... So they concentrated on his speed. If he couldn't beat his opponent in strength, then he'd have to do it with agility and cunning. Being smaller meant harder to hit, and being faster meant harder to catch, he'd just have to make sure he could out smart them too. He bonded with the Buck who trained him, sort of looking to him as a second father. The buck gave him a sense of direction, and what sort of Owsla he wanted to be. He didn't want to be a bully, nor did he want feel above anyone else, he wanted to serve the rest of his Warren, protect them as he felt he was meant to. Like his own father had protected him and his mother.

When Flash joined the Owsla, he was quite excited, as most are when they do. But... When he realized that many of the Owsla was not like his mentor, it was... Disappointing to say the least. Some would use their authority to take from others, bully them. It was so unlike what he'd been taught. When he first witnessed he was shocked, he didn't know how to respond. Should he help, tell them off, ignore it? He was afraid, he was a new Owsla and didn't want to mess things up. So he took a passive route, not confronting the others, but instead going behind their backs to help. This is how he'd start, and once he got a good foot in his rank, he'd start trying to influence the others to change. And for now, he'd just stick with hares that believed in the same ideals as him.

Flash was at his post, watching out at the Does and Bucks he was supposed to be protecting. A job like this was so boring, sometimes he wished he weren't in the Owsla at all. " Everyone has to play guard once in a while." he remembered his captain say. " But then, once you do your part, then you can run.". It was all Flash dreamed about, running that is... Being out in the free open fields, running as if for his life, to other rabbits it might have been a simple thing. Something one does only to survive or to get to where they are needed. But not for him, it was something more. It felt almost like flying when he got fast enough. There was nothing more rewarding than out running a predator, or out foxing a fox... Of course he was warned, it wouldn't so fun when he gets outsmarted himself, but please... How would that ever happen? What could possibly out run him?
